This year's Auction for Education will be held Friday, 13 March 2009.

Join us for an evening of fun, food, and bidding at the Hill Officers' Spouses' Club 2009 Annual Red, White, & Denim Auction for Education!
Friday, 13 March 2009. 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm @ Club Hill
The HOSC has sponsored the annual Auction for Education in order to benefit the HOSC Scholarship Program, which awards scholarships to many military and civilians. Proceeds raised will go directly to the scholarship fund. We need your support for this event to be successful. We currently have more auction items than RSVPs which means some real deals for those who attend.
This year's event will be a casual mixer style event with an open buffet and open bar starting at 5pm in the Ball Room. Come out, enjoy some music, food, drinks, and friends and bid on some exceptional auction items.
"Texas Hold'em" tables will be available this year for your enjoyment.
Some of this year's themed baskets and packages will include an all inclusive get-away to Parade Rest Ranch, restaurant and hotel gift cards, opera and theater tickets, ski passes, jewelry, and much more! Most baskets will have a value of $30 - $60 ranging up to $200, with highest bidder taking the deal. Mimimum bids starting at $10 for most items.
Sequence of Events 2009
5:00 Open and informal silent auction beings. Optional Italian buffet located in the Wasatch Room ($11.85 for club members and $13.85 for non-club members).
6:30 Silent Auction ends. Silent Auction winners announced.
6:45 Live Auction begins, by Lt. Evan McCauley
7:15 Live Auction ends. Bank located in the Daedalian Room; please make payment for your items if you have not already done so.
Proceeds benefit the OSC Scholarship fund. FREE ADMISSION AND OPEN TO ALL WITH BASE ACCESS.

About the Auction for Education...
The Officers' Spouses' Club of Hill Air Force Base is sponsoring our annual Auction for Education. We will have both silent and live auctions that evening.
Each year our private organization proudly awards scholarships to college bound students through our welfare fund. The auction helps to finance this fund. All graduating high school seniors and spouses of military members attached to Hill, including active duty, retired, and activated Reserve and Guard, may apply for one of these scholarships. Some scholarships are available for children and spouses of civil-service employees at Hill as well.
Our organization also makes charitable contributions to local and national organizations that support our military. Last year we were able to present $20,000 in scholarships and numerous grants to help support various organizations, due in large to the monies raised from our Auction for Education.
